Does sharing our time talent & treasure evangelize? Are we warned about consequences if we don't?

FAR180 discusses our responsibility to share our gifts with others. Does research prove that our actions are one of the most effective ways to evangelize? Do we have an opinion about our generosity that statistics Canada disproves? Are you looking for ideas to give back and share your time with others and where to go to get a free copy.

FAR180's mission is to be a source of evidence for God and Christianity for those wanting to share why they believe and for skeptics wanting to know the truth.

Matthew 22: 37-39 / Mark 12: 30-31) “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind. The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no greater commandment than these.”

Romans 2:6-10 “He will render to each one according to his work to those who by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; but for those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury…. but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good.

Rom 2:1-11 By your stubbornness and impenitent heart, you are storing up wrath for yourself for the day of wrath and revelation of the just judgment of God, who will repay everyone according to his works, eternal life to those who seek glory, honor, and immortality through perseverance in good works, but wrath and fury to those who selfishly disobey the truth and obey wickedness.

John 5 29 “those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.

(Luke 12:32-48). “Much will be required of the person entrusted with much, and still more will be demanded of the person entrusted with more.”

James 2:14-17 “What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.

Matthew 7:21-29 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 16 27 “For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.”

(Matthew 25:31-46)

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’”

Titus 1:16 “They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient.

Galatians 6:7-9. “Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption (eternal death); but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life....
